Happening Now: Three WKU AMS representatives elected to national group

Three representatives of WKU’s Department of Architectural and Manufacturing Sciences have been elected to leadership positions for the Association of Technology Management and Applied Engineering, according to a university press release.

Josh Ferriell, a graduate student from Bowling Green, has been elected to a one-year term as a student representative on the ATMAE Executive Board, according to the release. Mark Doggett, assistant AMS professor, has been elected president of the Management Division. Stanley Lightner, assistant AMS professor, has been elected as vice president of the Manufacturing Division.

Ferriell, Doggett and Lightner, along with others from the AMS department, will be attending the ATMAE national conference Oct. 27-30 in Panama City Beach, Fla., according to the release.
