Cravens Library is expected to reopen at 9 p.m. after a problem with the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system caused the power to be turned off at 10 a.m. and closed the building around 1 p.m.

An e-mail sent just after 4 p.m. by Facilities Management said the electricity and HVAC will be restored by 9 p.m. and “Cravens should be up and running” at that time.
