Women’s recruit Tarrence ready to choose between Belmont, WKU

It’s been three weeks since Bowling Green High

School point guard Adrienne Tarrence narrowed her search down to

Belmont and WKU, and now she feels like she’s ready to make her

decision.

Bowling Green coach Lavonda Johnson told the

Herald on Wednesday that Tarrence will make her decision next

Monday. The decision will come on the heels of her completing

visits to both Belmont and WKU.

Tarrence had originally planned on making her

decision this Thursday, but Johnson said Tarrence texted her on

Tuesday night saying she wanted the weekend to mull over her

options before making the announcement.

Tarrence’s possible commitment could be the

third for Head Coach Mary Taylor Cowles’ 2011 class. The Bowling

Green Daily News reported on Tuesday that Chastity Gooch, a

Franklin-Simpson High School forward, had committed, adding on to

Pulaski Southwestern point guard Danay Fothergill.
