After taking a hard loss in five sets to Marshall the day before, the Lady Toppers decided it was time to play.
WKU (10-4) won the Billiken Invitational after winning back-to-back matches over St. Louis 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-19) and Lipscomb 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-21) in St. Louis on Saturday.
The tournament champion was based on the number of set wins.

The Lady Toppers return home for a mid-week matchup against Belmont in Diddle Arena at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
