Benefit concert today

The Cooters love to travel. The Oxford, Miss. punk/rock band’s first time playing in Kentucky comes tonight at Revolution 91.7’s Revolution Mayhem concert.

Six bands from around Bowling Green are playing in the concert, including Vile Jive, Circle Seven, A. Holland, Pimpslap and The Loft. The concert starts at 4 p.m. and lasts until midnight on the Preston Center Lawn. There is no charge for admission, but donations are being accepted for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Last year, Revolution raised $300 for St. Jude’s.
