Tennis teams win

While students were off on spring break, Western men’s and women’s tennis teams were hard at work – sort of – as they took part in a three-day tournament in Hilton Head, S.C., before wrapping up their break at Tennessee State.

Western’s women’s team came out an impressive 4-0, while the men came out a little scathed at 2-2. The women’s undefeated spring break extended its current win streak to nine.

On the men’s side, Western picked up a win in its first Hilton Head match, downing Colby College 4-3. The Toppers dropped doubles but recovered to win singles at seeds 1-4 to capture the victory.
