A man and a woman identified in a crime report as “Jane and John Doe” and John Lee Grayson of Garfield Heights, Ohio, were arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and giving false information to a police officer.

The arrest happened outside Mass Media and Technology Hall on Normal Drive.

All three were being held yesterday in Warren County Regional Jail.

Grayson will be extradited to Cleveland, where he is wanted on three counts of receiving stolen property, the report stated.

Campus police Capt. Mike Wallace said the complaint about the three originated near Wetherby Administration Building.

“We had reports of suspicious activity,” Wallace said. “We determined they had no business being here.”

The two men fit the description of reported purse snatchers in Wetherby from earlier this semester.

Neither man had been charged with theft yesterday.
