Big tobacco companies have almost entirely paid for me to attend this university. My mother works for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co., and almost every penny she makes goes to paying for my brother and me to attend college. I received a scholarship from B&W for children of their employees, and now, tobacco will be helping not only me out, but also all state colleges in the state of Kentucky. This new tax will help fund universities that had to make budget cuts (like Western). So for you smokers, keep it up. It doesn’t bother me, it helps. THANKS A LOT!!!
