Parking lot to be built

Construction for a new, fully-furnished parking lot next to 1700 Chestnut St. began yesterday. Campus police Capt. Mike Wallace said that it will provide about 260 parking spaces, an emergency telephone and a shuttle bus stop.

Wallace also said it will have a well-lit walkway.

The contractor of the site has asked that any unauthorized vehicles on the lot be ticketed and towed starting Today.
