Not getting Elgrace’s side of the story, or even a copy of the police report, leaves us all to draw a conclusion Elgrace is a bad egg. The police report basically said Elgrace was DEFENDING two women against unwanted advances by CRUMP, and only as a last resort after the latter became uncontrollable, did Elgrace defend himself. Also coach BUzz Peterson had a stormy relationship after selfishly making Elgrace remain committed to UT even though Elgrace signed with the previous coach and wanted to be released from his committment. OF COURSE, Elgrace was going to be the one DISMISSED instead of CRUMP.

A little more research by a supposedly veteran reporter would have made the story more fair.
