A correction

In the March 18, 2003 article on the Lady Toppers’s NCAA draw, I believe that the word you spelled “phase” should be “faze,” a verb meaning to daunt or disconcert. “Phase” is a noun meaning (1) one of a sequence of apparent forms, (2) a distinct stage of development, etc. Same pronunciation, different meaning. Check your dictionary.
