Dear Editors,

Although It would serve me right if you did, I would appreciate it if you didn’t publish the letter to the editor I recently sent concerning your editorial on graduation rates,(“Athletes make the cut, why can’t the rest of us?”).

A more careful reading of your editorial makes it clear that I kind of missed the point! I thought you were urging putting limits on the amount of time a student could take to graduate. I had the wrong idea to begin with, and now I’m embarrassed! It wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened to me…

Even though I’ve been gone from the WKU for awhile,I continue to be impressed with the writing and enjoy the College Heights Herald on-line. The quality is excellent.
