I recently visited the campus of Western and was appalled at the overall lack of diversity. On a leisurely stroll through campus, I saw NO posters for blaxploitation or old-school ’80s movies, NO afros or other such funky hairstyles and NO one wearing wristbands or other such funky accessories. I mean, I thought segregation had ended and that we could all live as one nation under a groove.

After visiting Western, I see I was mistaken.
