Conference USA announced early Tuesday morning the results of its cross country preseason poll that ranks the men’s and women’s teams of the league individually.

The preseason polls are voted on by the league’s head coaches and are conducted every year before the start of each season. The full results can be found here.

Out of 11 men’s programs in the conference, WKU was picked to finish in seventh place.

WKU’s women’s program tied for 11th place out of 13 teams.

This year’s C-USA cross county season begins on Sept. 1 and concludes on Oct. 30th in North Carolina with the 2021 C-USA Cross Country Championships hosted by Charlotte.

WKU’s first meet of the season will take place at the Memphis Twilight Classic on Sept. 4.
