The Lady Toppers (9-2-0, 4-1-0 C-USA) are set to continue conference play down in Florida when the FIU Golden Panthers (1-10-2, 0-3-2 C-USA) host WKU at the FIU Soccer Stadium in Miami on Friday night.

The Lady Toppers lost their undefeated conference record last Friday night in a 1-0 shutout loss at home to the Old Dominion Monarchs, who currently sit atop Conference USAโ€™s east division. FIU will serve as a solid bounce-back opportunity for the red and white as the Panthers have struggled so far this season.

The Panthers kicked off their season with a 2-0 shutout victory over Stetson at home on Aug. 19, but have not defeated another opponent since then.

FIU began conference play in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with a 3-2 loss to MTSU followed by two consecutive draws against conference opponents Florida Atlantic and Marshall. When FIU hosted the Charlotte 49ers the following match, the Panthers fell 4-1 before traveling to Denton, Texas to be shut out 5-0 by the North Texas Mean Green.

FIU freshman forward Noemi Paquin is a player to keep an eye on Friday evening as the Montreal native has found the back of the net four times this year for a total of eight points. Junior forward Sydney Amparo is the next-best offensive player on the roster with one goal and three assists to her name this season.

The Lady Toppers will take the field at the FIU Soccer Stadium at 5 p.m. CT on Friday, Oct. 15.
