WKU junior wide receiver Jerreth Sterns announced Sunday night that he is declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Sterns led the nation in receptions (150) and receiving yards (1,902) as well as touchdowns (17). His 150 catches were 48 more than second in the nation while also being nine away from setting a new single-season FBS record.

Sterns was named Conference USA Newcomer of the Year and a member of the All C-USA First Team during his lone season on the Hill.

The Waxahachie, Texas, native transferred from Houston Baptist University after a stellar career there. He caught 220 passes for 1,971 yards and 18 touchdowns. He logged eight 100-yard games and 10 double-digit catches as a Husky.

Sterns accepted an invite to the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl.
