Former WKU defensive back Desmond Johnson was found alive and safe Thursday afternoon after being reported missing earlier that day, according to the WKU Police Department. 

Johnson’s family reached out to the Bowling Green Police Department looking for assistance after they had not heard from him in a couple days. 

Johnson played five games in his three years on the Hill. He entered the transfer portal on Jan. 21. 

Johnson is now home and safe with his family.
