Tree cleared from road at Normal Street and Kiss Me Quick

A tree fallen at Kiss Me Quick alleyway caused a portion of the road to be blocked for several hours, according to the alert by WKU Police.
“Normal Street at Kiss Me Quick will be closed for the next several hours due to a large tree blocking the roadway. Please find an alternate route of travel,” Melissa Bailey, public information officer for WKUPD said via email sent at 2:27 a.m.
The tree has now been removed and the road is clear, according to WKUPD.
“There was no damage to any WKU property that we have been made aware of thankfully,” Bailey said via email.
