WKU’s All-Girl Cheer team took home the Division 1A Cheer National Title at the 2023 UCA and UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship. The championship took place Jan. 13-15 in Orlando, Florida.

In the semi-final competition, WKU was deducted 7.5 points during their performance. The team placed 7th in the field with a score of 86.4, which was enough to advance them to the finals.

In the final round, WKU hit their performance to place first by almost five points, winning the championship with a score of 92.7. Hitting zero in their final routine, the Hilltoppers high score beat out schools such as University of Oklahoma and University of Alabama.
