Members of the BG Freedom Walkers and others from the Bowling Green area marched on Anna’s Greek Restaurant on Monday, Jan 23. This march was in response to the Republican Women’s Club hosting former Louisville Metro Police officer Jonathan Mattingly, who was involved in the no-knock raid that resulted in the killing of Breonna Taylor. Mattingly was the featured speaker at an event the Republican Women’s Club of South Central Kentucky hosted at the restaurant.

Greene, alongside his fellow protestors, marched from Warren County Public Library to the Anna’s Greek Restaurant, less than a block away. There, six days earlier, Jonathan Mattingly—one of the Louisville Metro Police officers involved in Breonna Taylor’s killing—held a book-promotion with the Republican Women’s Club, after his engagement was canceled at the previous venue.
