The professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi currently has 360 chapters, with 305 of those being collegiate, and over 12,000 current members in these college chapters.

The Zeta Theta chapter at Western Kentucky University is hosting an event on Friday, March 31 to fundraise for their Chapter Leadership Fund.

The Delta Sigma Pi Benefit Gala will take place from 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. at The Warehouse, located at 2539 Mount Victor Lane.

A silent auction will take place, with items such as football tickets, gift cards and a variety of others available.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, where the winner will take half of the total in the raffle, while the other half is being put towards the CLF.

WKU Zeta Theta Chapter President Emma Carlton said they are hosting this event so other members are able to attend national events and expand their professional network.

“These events allow us to connect with other Deltasigs on a regional, provincial, and national level, as well as greatly expanding our network and gaining valuable knowledge to bring back to our chapter,” Carlton said.

Carlton said that members of the chapter will be speaking at the gala, and WKU Gordon Ford College of Business Dean Evelyn Thrasher will be the guest speaker.

“We are mainly hosting Delta Sigma Pi brothers, Gordon Ford College of Business faculty and family and friends of brothers and faculty members,” Carlton said. “We are expecting to have 75 people in attendance.”

The event is open to all students, faculty and community members.

“This evening will be a great opportunity to dress up with your friends and enjoy a delicious meal while supporting an organization on your campus,” Carlton said.
