WKU Women’s Basketball fell to 6-4, losing to the Ball State Cardinals 67-59 on Dec. 10 at E.A. Diddle Arena.
As a team, WKU shot 34.3%. They went 5-16 from three and 12-17 at the charity stripe.
WKU had their strongest quarter in the first, shooting 50% from the field and 100% on free throws.
Sophomore guard Acacia Hayes led WKU in several stats. Playing for a total of 34 minutes, Hayes posted 22 points with five assists and four steals. She shot 7-18 and went 6-6 from the free throw line.
Junior guard Alexis Mead was a familiar face during the contest, playing 33 minutes. Allen scored eight points and led the team in rebounds with eight.
WKU will take the court again on Monday, Dec. 18 against Abilene Christian University in E.A. Diddle Arena at 6:30p.m. CT.
