The WKU Intercultural Student Engagement Center announced their upcoming Black History Month festivities for the months of January and February.
Nine total events were announced, with the first being Trap Grocery Bingo on Jan. 24 with the programs finishing up on Feb. 29 with “The Black Experience.”
The festivities list includes many different events such as brunch on Feb. 4 and a pageant on Feb. 2.
January events include Trap Grocery Bingo on Jan. 24 and Noir: A Night of Black Excellence on Jan. 31.
February events start off with the For the Culture of Preview Day and Black History Month Night at Hilltopper Basketball on Feb. 1.
Other events include the Mr. and Miss For the Culture Pageant on Feb. 2, For the Culture Brunch on Feb. 4, Living Legends Mixer on Feb. 20 and “ISEC Takes New Orleans” from Feb. 22-25. The month will end with “The Black Experience” on Feb. 29.
All students are welcome, and ISEC tells everyone to “save these dates.”
