WKU womens basketball looks to snap their three-game losing streak Wednesday, as they travel to Ruston, Louisiana to play Louisiana Tech for their regular season road finale.

The Lady Toppers used a 21-point, eight rebound and five assist outing by junior guard Alexis Mead to defeat the Lady Techsters in the previous meeting between WKU and LA tech. Despite her great performance, WKU’s 21 forced turnovers were key to pulling away with the win.

The Lady Techsters are led by senior forward Anna Larr Roberson who averages 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. LA Tech averages 63.1 points per game as a team and allows 63.3 points per game, both marks under WKU.

The Lady Toppers will look to bounce back offensively after one of their worst shooting performances of the season against Middle Tennesse State. Against MTSU, the Lady Toppers shot 17-64 (26.6%) from the field and 4-25 (16%) from beyond the arc.

This is LA Tech and WKU’s 55th all-time meeting, with the Lady Techsters holding the series lead 28-26.
