WKU guard Brandon Newman has entered the transfer portal following one season on the Hill, according to rivals.com.
Newman, a redshirt senior guard who spent 2020-2023 at Purdue, started all 34 games for the Hilltoppers this past season. Newman averaged 10.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game during the 2023-24 season.
Newman becomes the second Hilltopper to enter the portal since the hiring of new head coach Hank Plona, following Dontaie Allens entry on April 11.
