WKU Volleyball is riding a 17-game winning streak as the Hilltoppers head to Huntsville, Texas to take on 13-12 (8-6 C-USA) Sam Houston State.
The Hilltoppers are looking to take firm control of the top seed for the Conference USA tournament.
The Bearkats enter this game on a two-game losing streak, losing both games last weekend against Liberty.
Sam Houston State is led by outside hitter Lyla Washington on offense, amassing 239 kills on the season, with outside hitter Alyssa Fielder adding 229 kills. The Bearkat’s offense is set up by setter Avery Fowler with 816 assists on the season.
WKU has controlled C-USA with a dominant offense, led by senior outside hitter Kaylee Cox with 342 kills, along with outside hitter Alivia Skidmore with 247. The offense is a group effort as four players have at least 200 kills.
WKU Volleyball will be without Head Coach Travis Hudson on the sideline as he continues to recover from surgery on a lisfranc fracture in his left foot.
The Hilltoppers take on the Bearkats in a doubleheader. The first of two games is set for Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 pm.
