WKU Volleyball is set to head to El Paso, Texas Friday to take on Florida International in the first round of the Conference USA tournament.
The Lady Toppers are fresh off a sweep of Liberty last weekend, clinching their sixth straight regular season championship and ensuring the top seed for the C-USA tournament.
Senior outside hitter Kaylee Cox leads the way for the Hilltoppers with 408 kills and outside hitter Alivia Skidmore has been dominant as well, with 295 kills on the season.
The Panthers are led by outside hitter Jillian Huckabey with 335 kills on the season, and middle blocker Anna Feldkamp has been solid on defense with 78 blocks.
The Hilltoppers are 46-8 all-time against the Panthers and are on a 27-game win streak in the series. WKU swept FIU in a two-game series this season, however, the Panthers took the Hilltoppers to five sets in both matches.
The game against the Panthers is set for 1 p.m. If the Lady Toppers advance, they are set to play the winner of Kennesaw State and Middle Tennessee on Saturday at 1 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m.
