On December 2 and 3, from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., The Commons at Helm Library will open rooms 3002 and 3008 for group study.
“Since finals week is one of the busiest times of year for the libraries, we are going to open up our classroom space Monday and Tuesday night,” Morgan Moran, access services library assistant said.
Moran said rooms 3002 and 3008 are classrooms, usually only available for library staff or faculty use.
Classrooms are larger than normal study rooms and include access to a whiteboard and marker.
“We’ll have marker packs in there, the whiteboards will be available to use and the tables, so it’s just another open study space for study overflow,” Moran said.
