WKU Defensive Coordinator Tyson Summers accepted the same position at Colorado State Monday the Rams announced with an X post.
Summers served as the Hilltoppers’ defensive coordinator for three seasons. WKU allowed 25 points and 400 yards per game in the seasons under Summers.
Summers’ best season was his first. In 2022, WKU allowed 23 points and 384 yards per game, the lowest marks in his time on the Hill. Last season, WKU gave up 24 points and 397 yards a game.
Summers is returning to the Rams as he served as the defensive coordinator at CSU in 2015.
