The WKU Film program will host thesis test screenings of senior capstone films on Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Jody Richards Hall auditorium.
The screenings are designed for seniors to receive feedback on their films before the release.
According to the WKU Film Instagram, the screenings are free for anyone who attends, encouraging non-film majors to invite family and friends.
RJ Eckel, senior film production major, will show his film โWitchesโ Rave,โ at the test screenings.
Eckelโs film included an extensive and draining work process from May 2024 to December 2024.
โIt was a long process, but filming it and seeing it come together has been the most satisfying thing in the world,โ Eckel said.
Eckel said he is excited about the screening and hearing opinions about his film.
โThis film has really opened up my mind in terms of creating art and viewing myself within it,โ Eckel said.
