WKU Women’s Basketball will head to Lynchburg, Virginia Saturday for its final game of the season to take on the 22-6 (15-2) Liberty Flames.
The Lady Toppers are coming off a dominant win over FIU earlier this week 83-48. It was all senior guard Destiny Salary going for a career-high of 26 points, along with five assists, and five rebounds in the win.
WKU has shared the wealth in scoring this season with four players averaging double digits. Senior guard Alexis Mead leads the way with 13.6 points a game.
The Flames currently sit first in CUSA after a statement win over Middle Tennessee State earlier this week 61-42.
Liberty is led by senior center Bella Smuda, who averages 12.2 points a game and leads the way in rebounds with 6.7 a game.
The Lady Toppers are looking to extend their win streak to six going into the conference tournament next week.
The game is set for 1 P.M. on ESPN+.
