Four key pieces of WKU Men’s Basketball’s 2024-2025 roster have entered their names into the transfer portal since it opened on Monday.
Senior guard Don McHenry, senior forward Babacar Faye, senior guard Enoch Kalambay and freshman guard Julius Thedford have all entered the portal according to WKU Athletics.
McHenry, who entered Tuesday, was the team’s leading scorer two years in a row. In 2024-2025, he averaged 17 points per game which was two points above the next Hilltopper.
Faye, who entered Wednesday, suffered a season-ending injury against Murray State on Dec. 14. He was the second leading scorer, averaging 15.2 a game as well as 7.8 rebounds.
Thedford suffered a season-ending knee injury against MTSU on Jan. 18 and announced his plans to enter the portal on Instagram Monday. He was third on the team in scoring to end the year, averaging 12.4 points a game.
Kalambay entered the portal Monday. He was the team’s sixth-leading scorer averaging 8.2 points per game. He wasn’t a consistent starter throughout the season however he averaged 21 minutes per game.
