Gilvin commits to Kentucky

Former WKU Women’s Basketball junior guard Josie Gilvin announced on Instagram Friday her commitment to the University of Kentucky.

Gilvin spent three seasons as a Lady Topper before entering her name into the transfer portal on March 25.

Gilvin is coming off a junior campaign where she put up career numbers, helping the Lady Toppers to their best record since the 2019-2020 season.

In her junior season, Gilvin led the Lady Toppers in numerous categories, including blocks, steals, and rebounds. Gilvin was second in scoring with 13.1 points per game, tripling her average from her sophomore campaign.
