WKU Baseball will close out the regular season with a three-game series against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at Nick Denes Field May 15-17.
The Hilltoppers come into the weekend with a 17-7 conference record, second in CUSA. WKU Baseball will look to improve on its 29-1 home record.
WKU swept the New Mexico State Aggies last weekend. The Hilltoppers outscored NMSU 41-11.
Senior Austin Haller had an impressive weekend, going 5-for-12 with nine RBIs and three home runs.
The Gamecocks enter the weekend with a 13-11 conference record, fourth in CUSA.
Jax State is coming off a loss to Auburn on Tuesday, following a series win against LA Tech, taking two of three games.
Jax State carries a .273 team batting average, sixth in CUSA, and a 5.72 team ERA, fifth in CUSA.
The Hilltoppers have a .318 team batting average and a 3.12 team ERA, leading CUSA in both.Â
The series will open on Thursday at 6 p.m., continuing on Friday at 4 p.m. The series will close on Saturday, first pitch set for 1 p.m.
