The attributes people ordinarily equate boxers with don’t hold much value to Mason. Instead of focusing on someones athleticism and power, he wants to see how coachable they are. “I don’t really care if somebody shows me how, how tough they are their first day, or how hard they hit. I want to see like, can they almost be quiet for a second and just kind of take in and listen and pay attention to it,” Mason said.
