Interpersonal Violence during a pandemic | Interpersonal violence (IPV) is prevalent in today’s society and those dangers can increase during the COVID-19 pandemic. With personal movement limited and, at times, people confined to their homes, concerns about a potential increase in IPV occurred. Stay-at-home orders, intended to protect the public and prevent widespread infection, left many IPV victims trapped with their abusers. Attend this session to explore how Interpersonal Violence (IPV) like dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking can look like in 2021 with the many changes with technology, social climate, and a pandemic.
