A WKU student was fatally shot early Sunday morning on the 1600 block of Kenton Street, according to the Bowling Green Police Department.
Officer Ronnie Ward, BGPD information officer, said the victim was Kenneth Davis, 21.
Davis was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity at WKU, Charley Pride, director of Student Activities, said. Pride said he didn't have enough information about the incident to give further comment at the time.

WKU student Peter G. Gall, 21, called the police department at 12:09 a.m., reporting he had shot someone, according to Gall’s arrest citation. When police arrived, they found Davis bleeding on the floor, the citation stated.
Early Sunday afternoon Ward confirmed Gall had been charged with second-degree manslaughter.
Alcohol was listed in the citation as being involved in the incident.
Ward said detectives are still working on the case.
