WKU (16-16), (6-6, C-USA) completed its first Conference USA sweep over Marshall (4-19), (0-12, C-USA) on Sunday afternoon winning 8-1. The respective programs had to play with heavy 20 MPH winds blowing to left field.Â

WKU (14-16), (4-6, C-USA) started an eight game home stretch against Marshall (4-17), (0-10, C-USA) in a doubleheader on a very windy Friday afternoon. WKU won both games by a combined score of 6-1.Â
WKU’s designated hitter graduate Davis Sims was named one of 30 candidates named to the 2021 Senior CLASS Award on Thursday. Sims is the lone Conference USA player on the list.Â

WKU(12-16), (2-6, C-USA) wrapped up its first Conference USA road series Saturday afternoon against FIU (12-14), (4-4, C-USA). The Hilltoppers lost its third straight game 10-0.Â
FIU (11-14) (3-4, C-USA) hosted WKU (12-15) (2-5, C-USA) on Friday afternoon for two seven inning games, a doubleheader in Miami, Florida. WKU went on to lose both games by one run each.Â
WKU (12-13), (2-3, C-USA) began its first Conference USA road trip of the season down at FIU (9-14), (1-4, C-USA) in Miami Thursday evening. The Hilltoppers went on to win 9-1 over the Panthers to begin the series.Â
The WKU Baseball program (11-13), (1-3, C-USA) dropped its first Conference USA series 3-1 against the Charlotte 49ers (14-9), (3-1, C-USA) to open conference play this spring.
