The 2020-21 WKU men’s basketball (21-8) season has officially reached its end after losing to conference foe Louisiana Tech (23-8) 72-65 in the quarterfinals of the NIT tournament.
On Monday afternoon, it was announced by Verbal Commits that WKU Men’s Basketball junior transfer forward Kevin Osawe will enter the transfer portal.

After a heartbreaking loss in the Conference USA championship, the WKU Hilltoppers had every excuse in the world to lose in the opening round of the National Invitational Tournament, but they pulled out a victory against a Saint Mary’s team that finished second in the West Coast Conference.
WKU (21-7) took on Saint Mary’s (14-10) in Comerica Center Wednesday evening to open the first round of the National Invitational Tournament. The Hilltoppers escaped with a 69-67 win after two clutch free throws from senior Taveion Hollingsworth.
WKU (20-7) isn’t done playing just yet. On Sunday evening the Hilltoppers were announced as a No. 3 seed in the National Invitational Tournament. The No. 2 seed, Saint Mary’s (14-9), are WKU’s next opponent after both programs lost in their conference tournaments.
