WKU basketball received its first 2020 commitment from four-star center Nick Ongenda on Monday.Β 

Ongenda, who is now verbally committed to WKU, is a 6-foot-10-inch big man from Little Rock, Arkansas. He's ranked a four-star prospect by 247Sports.com, which also ranks him as the No. 1 player in Arkansas and the No. 14 center in his class. ESPN has him ranked as the No. 59 player in the class of 2020. 

WKU head coach Rick Stansbury has now landed at least one four-star or better recruit for 2017, 2018 and 2020. He also has a commitment from 6-foot-5-inch shooting guard Jackson Harlan, an Albany native, in the 2019 class.Β
