Before and during the service, Randolph provides a time of silence for the congregation and herself to connect one on one with the Lord. During Randolph’s time as pastor of Pleasant Point Church, others have gone against her and threatened her for taking the role, but as she received hate, she continued to bless and pray for those who has tried to take her down. “I have received death threats in all shapes and forms once chosen for the job. Many believe as a woman and as a black woman that I was not fit to lead others and spread the word of God, but I just surpassed the hatred and continue to provide guidance and opportunities for others around me,” Randolph said.
