Guerra gives much of the credit for her love of children to her mother and father. Growing up, Guerra felt she always had their support no matter what circumstance arose, and her mother still continues to work at an elementary school. “They were always there. I knew I could always count on them, and not only were they there, but they were always volunteering to help out,” said Guerra.
