My name is Evan Mattingly, and I’m from Nashville. Since I started studying photojournalism at WKU, I’ve learned that taking a photo is more than just tapping a button.

Having the ability to capture tiny moments in my life and the lives of those that have let me into their homes to tell their stories reassures the notion that I have the best job on the planet.

I look forward to graduating and beginning the next chapter of my life, but I will never forget my time on the Hill and what my classmates, professors and friends have taught me along the way.
