Valentine’s Day is a day of love and giving—even if it just means loving and giving to yourself.

To all of the single ladies and gentlemen, Valentine’s Day can seem like a bore. But you don’t need a significant other to make this Thursday enjoyable.

Here are 10 ways to make this red, pink and white holiday fun and all about you:

  1. Do a face mask and take a bubble bath.

  2. Have a “Pal”-entine’s Day with your friends—hang out and do something you all enjoy!

  3. Buy yourself chocolate or your favorite snack.

  4. Watch your favorite movie! Unless you’re into romantic movies, you don’t have to watch them. Watch what makes you happy!

  5. Go dancing! Go with friends or meet new people (responsibly and safely, of course).

  6. Start your own Valentine’s Day tradition. Traditional fancy dinners and elaborate gifts can get repetitive, so make your tradition unique and fun. Even if you aren’t single next year, you can still keep the tradition going!

  7. Play your favorite video game or start on a book you’ve been meaning to read.

  8. Treat yourself to dinner or eat out with friends or family.

  9. Tell the family and friends in your life how much you love them. You may be single, but there are still people around you who love you all the same! Hug them, make them a cheesy valentine and tell them you love and value them.
