WKU sent out an alert about reports of a robbery that had occurred on Adams Street this afternoon which are now believed to be unfounded.

The alert sent out shortly after 1 p.m. stated that two suspects armed with a handgun were traveling north from 12th Street and Adams Street. 

A second alert sent out at 1:52 p.m. stated that “based on the totality of information available, robbery on Adams St was unfounded.”
