Danette Idlett, co-founder of Life’s Better Together, visits the Willis family in Bowling Green on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Idlett told Melissa and Savannah Willis that the non-profit will be gifting a car to Savannah, and helping her learn to drive. Idlett came to know that a car was donated to St. Vincent DePaul when she called the food bank for an unrelated matter. Knowing the family’s needs she “connects the dots” to fulfill the non-profit’s mission to help families battling illnesses.
