Richard Miller, 70, sits behind a framed photograph of himself from around 1969. In the photo, he is wearing a San Francisco Giants uniform. Miller stepped down as vice provost for policies and personnel, effective June 30, 2018. He will be transitioning away from 12 years in that position at WKU and 43 years total in university administration. Before he worked in university administration, Miller was drafted into the San Francisco Giants and was a minor league baseball player.
