Today’s Board of Regents meeting saw the approval of several staff raises and appointments, including seven athletics position appointments and two raises. 

The staff appointments, shown below, featured the approval of strength and conditioning coach Jason Veltkamp’s position and salary. Veltkamp, a coach with Power 5 and NFL experience, has a salary of $100,000. 

Among the approved raises for athletics positions, football assistant coach Maurice Crum received a raise of $25,000 after he added co-special teams coordinator to his title during spring football. That increases his salary to $75,000. 

Earlier this semester, head coach Rick Stansbury received a $150,000 raise, which was also approved by the Board of Regents.
