Michelle Bundis, a Bowling Green resident and new mother, has used CrossFit for the past few years to help her become the woman and mother she has always wanted to be. “I started doing CrossFit because I wanted to get healthy,” Bundis said. “I was about 315 pounds at one point and I knew if I wanted to be my potential I needed to get healthy.” After losing over 150 pound with CrossFit Bundis got pregnant with her son Kobe and continued to work out throughout the pregnancy. “What’s really great about CrossFit and what it’s done for me personally is that it has shifted the focus from what I look like and what other people expect me to look like to finding beauty in strength,” Bundis said. “It no doubt helped my pregnancy, but what its done for me as a woman is just remarkable.”
