Head coach Michelle Clark-Heard reportedly showing interest in other jobs

WKU women’s basketball head coach Michelle Clark-Heard has been visiting other schools with open head coaching positions, according to a report from InsiderExposure on Twitter.

Clark-Heard led WKU to a 24-9 record this season, which included a Conference USA Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. It was the second straight tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance for the Lady Toppers and the third in four years. Each of those three wins have come under Clark-Heard.
Ole Miss parted ways with head coach Matt Insell on March 2 after going 12-19 (1-15 SEC). He posted a 70-87 record in five seasons as Ole Miss’ head coach.
The University of Cincinnati also parted ways with its women’s head coach, Jamelle Elliott, on Wednesday. UC went 19-13 (10-6 AAC) this season. Clark-Heard was formerly an assistant in UC’s program.
